Our client was a business owner who wanted to take an overseas holiday and was not confident to leave the business in the hands of staff.
Approach
We consulted with the owner and the staff to assess their main concerns. Through this process we resolved ways that the work normally done by the owner could be delegated.
To implement these processes, we identified staff training needs and designed documented procedures that were implemented well before the planned holiday.
Outcome
Staff handled the situation well and the owner was able to relax and enjoy their holiday. This owner has not had to work full-time in the business ever since and is now confident to take holidays at any time.
